Matthew 25:35-36
"For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me.
Giving

Urban Outreach, Inc. prayerfully and gratefully accepts financial and in-kind gifts from individuals, churches, foundations, corporations, and other community groups. UOI is not a United Way Agency. Needs are especially urgent during this time of economic downturn and the after effects of Hurricane Ike in our efforts to respond to the growing needs of inner-city families and the actual number of families in need.  The communities we serve suffer severe poverty, crime, and many times overwhelming hopelessness.  UOI has continued to reaffirm its commitment to supporting families and giving them the skills needed to build a successful life.  These are challenges we are prepared to meet.

What you can do:
Pray for Urban Outreach staff, volunteers, programs, and participants.

Volunteer  (ESL teacher, craft helper, computer trainer, Bible study leader, and more).

Coordinate a food or clothing drive at your church or work group.

Cash gifts can be designated for general operating purposes or for specific programs such as scholarships for summer camp or in support of a particular apartment project and are tax deductible.

We welcome your visiting our offices and the various apartment projects we serve.
Thank you for considering a gift to Urban Outreach, Inc.
