Prayer List

Your prayer support means a great deal to us as we go about meeting the needs of the many youth and families we serve.  Demand for our services has increased greatly due to the downturn in the economy and the lingering after affects of Hurricane Ike.

Please pray for the expansion of our Board of Trustees with dedicated Christians desiring to help Urban Outreach reach out.
Pray for our current sponsoring churches and organizations and that more sponsoring groups will step forward.

Pray for UOI leadership as it implements its 3 year Strategic Plan.

Prayer is requested for the health and welfare of UOI Board and Staff members and their families, a number of whom are experiencing health issues.

Our Apartment Ministry Program (AMP) must grow to meet the needs of area apartment projects.  Pray that those needs can be met and that new church and organization partners will step forward.

Prayer is needed for the client families within the complexes reached for the cause of Christ and for the health and welfare of the volunteer program coordinators.

The UOI  Christian Summer Camping Program (CSCP) is in need of prayer as well as financial support as it seeks to increase the number of sponsoring churches, individuals, and organizations to help.  And that more and more of the youth attending will come to know the Lord, accepting Christianity.

Prayer is requested for the Character Development in Schools Program (CDSP) as it seeks to expand into more local schools where the needs are greatest.

Prayer is requested for the spiritual and economic well being of past and future WINGS program graduates as they seek new employment opportunities and the significant life-changing decisions they make as a result of completing the WINGS program.
 
Pray for our spiritual and social ministry partners as we serve the families in our neighborhoods and as we collaborate to meet the needs of more and more families.
