Matthew 25:35-36
"For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me.

Urban Outreach is committed to addressing the additional needs in the Houston Community and collaborating with key partners and supporters to leverage available resources to inner-city families.  Food, clothing, home furnishings, and computer equipment are distributed to families in need throughout Houston.  Volunteer assistance with our key partner programs is one of the many ways church group, work groups or individuals can support UOI in addition to a financial gift.

There are many problems faced by families in the low income apartment projects.  UOI works with numerous other committed organizations to solve the multiple needs of these families, many of them single parent and living below the poverty level, whether they be meeting basic needs, social, cultural, educational, health related, financial, legal, job, immigration help, counseling, and others.
